In a commitment to slow fashion, the Rhizome trousers are only available through a made to measure service.
With hopes of making the design process and the clothes by extension more conversational, the made to measure model puts an emphasis on the generative potential of collaboration and friction.

This service allows you have the trousers made fit to your measurements and in a colourway of your choice. If desired, the cut and length of the trousers can be adjusted to your preference (as supposed to the standard mid-rise straight leg cut). Details such as thread colour, pockets, accent button preferences etc. can also be modified.
The order will require at least one consultation, which can be done through email, phone, or in person (London only). During the initial consultation, we will explore posssible fabrications and budgets – which will then inform the sourcing process. At this time, a deposit of £50 will be needed (deducted from the final cost of the garment).
Measurements will be taken in the following consultation and prices will be finalised. A guide for the measuring process will be provided if you are based outside of London or if the consultation is done remotely.
Once the order is confirmed, the full agreed prepayment will be taken (with the initial £50 deposit deducted).
The prices for made to measure will be calculated based on the final design – with determining factors such as fabric, detail adjustments and cut alterations. Please note that this cost does not include shipping, which will be worked out on the completion of the garment.
The made to measure process will take 3-6 weeks.
